Hong Kong and Filipino  Baptists’ synergy

“Today they have more than 60 members in the Easter Worship in our church!” Jabbie Chia shares with joy and thanks for the partnership with Filipino Baptists. Jabbie is a leader of the IM related Ngau Tau Kok Swatow Baptist Church in Hong Kong, and my former Special Assistant for Conflict Transformation Ministry. Jabbie and his fellow church leaders have started the mission model of “sharing space” inviting other churches, Christian and community organizations to use their church facility after God blessed them with a wonderful new church building in a strategic location facing the waterfront in Eastern Kowloon. Jabbie shares with great excitement, “The New  Beginnings Christian Fellowship started using our church facility since January 2023. We thank Rev. Danilo Borlado for his leadership and bringing the beautiful spirit and fellowship to our church. We praise God that more than 40 churches have come to observe our model. In the last six months, more than 2,000 people came to use our church facility. We have experienced ‘more blessed to give than receive!’”
