If callers wishing to reach IM dial the American Baptist Churches USA (ABCUSA) receptionist at the toll-free number, 800-222-3872, they will be prompted to dial 4 to be connected with the IM receptionist. Note that the ABCUSA Office of the General Secretary and the other denominational partners will remain in the current office building until further notice.

After several months of organizing, archiving and packing, the IM domestic staff is looking forward to settling into its new space. Executive Director / CEO Sharon Koh expressed the sentiments of the IM staff, saying, “I am excited about our new location because it will be an efficient use of space, and it is well designed for collaborative work. It is an environment well suited for the home office staff to serve our global servants and supporters.”

IM began the search for a new office location last spring with a firm commitment to remain as close as possible to its denominational partners. After an extensive search, IM’s planning team identified a building in King of Prussia that is an excellent match for IM’s requirements and about half a mile from the future site of the American Baptist Home Mission Societies, the American Baptist Churches USA Office of the General Secretary, the American Baptist Extension Corporation, American Baptist Women’s Ministries, the American Baptist Computer Center, the Ministers Council ABCUSA and one staff member of the American Baptist Historical Society.

“The IM Board of Directors sees God’s powerful hand at work in the availability and suitability of this building for our next chapter in God’s mission,” said the Rev. Dr. Reginald Mills, IM board president.
