Acts and Love in Action: BGsEtAl 2022Mar/Apr; Vol. XXII Num. 05; Koinonia Time…

Psalm 133 is well known, and we love to sing it, right? Better still to live it. We are encouraged when we meet at annual sessions and biennials. What is ahead for the Puerto Rico Baptist Churches (IBPR), The Colombian Baptist Denomination (DBC), and the Baptist Evangelical Union of Spain (UEBE)? What was recently lived by the National Baptist Convention of Nicaragua (CBN-Nicaragua) and the one in Chile (CBN-Chile).

From March 3-5, IBPR will meet in Palmer for their 120th annual session, working around the theme: “Remembering, Celebrating, and Proclaiming who we are throughout the generations”. Uff, we would love to be there…

From March 16-18, DBC will meet at FBC Cúcuta, with whom we serve migrants from Venezuela. What a blessing being able to accompany this ministry from the distance…

From March 26-28, UEBE celebrates in Madrid their “One Hundred Years Following Jesus”. We also continue following with you…

From February 22-23 CBN-Nicaragua celebrated their 87th annual session reflecting on: “Arise, walk and shine in the power of the Holy Spirit (Is. 60.1)”. We were with you for 4 years and continue now from the distance…

And from January 21-22, CBN-Chile celebrated their 12th meeting as CBN in their 71 years of history as Misión Chilena under the theme: “The next mile, A relational discipleship”. We continue making disciples with you…

Last June we had the ABC-USA biennial. This year we will be having the World Mission Conference in Green Lake, Wisconsin from July 4-9. Like in these annual and biennial sessions in USA, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Spain, Nicaragua, and Chile, we rejoice in the koinonia time and harmony the Lord is preparing for us and that we are praying for…

Planning to attend? You are just in time to set the dates aside and join us. Starting July 1st, 2022, your BGs begin our time of visiting the churches, friends, and family in the USA and Puerto Rico that have been with us throughout this term that began in 2018. It’s unbelievable how fast these 4 years went by! If you are going to Green Lake, let us know to look for you. If you are not, let us know so we can coordinate a meeting in person or via Zoom. We want to be sure to see each person that enabled our making disciples in Iberoamerica and the Caribbean during this time.

Speaking of making disciples, besides our weekly online koinonia time with our disciples in Chile, starting in March we will share with the CBN-Chile pastoral and missions’ leadership so they can share it convention-wide. Isaiah 54.2 is fulfilled so that others can have access to these digitalized discipleship materials we continue to develop.

We look forward to this koinonia time when we visit or have our Zoom call. Let us know your preference and availability. It is important for us to be with you and others around you that would like to join us between July 2022 and June 2023. Let us remember, celebrate, and proclaim who we are throughout the generations. We are one. Let us continue following Jesus. Let us arise, walk, and shine in the power of the Holy Spirit. And let us walk the next mile in a relational discipleship. Pray with us that the Lord will continue to guide us in making more Disciples of the Way…
