Deliris uses her pastoral as well as occupational therapy skills to work at Deborah’s House, a ministry that works with women and children who are victims of domestic violence in Tijuana, Mexico. Deliris affirms that it is through Jesus, who heals the broken hearts and restores the afflicted souls, that women and children find refuge, healing and freedom at Deborah’s House.

Deliris, an ordained American Baptist minister, believes that by strengthening their faith, improving their self-esteem, offering good education and helping them to find their vocational paths, these families will be able to leave the house with hope for a better future.
