Resurrection Eggs by Sandy Michael, Thailand

April 9, 2010 Journal
Have you heard of "Resurrection Eggs" ?  A dozen plastic eggs contain miniature items relating to Jesus triumphal entrance in Jerusalem through the resurrection from the tomb.  It begins with a miniature donkey and ends with an empty egg representing the empty tomb!

I used this teaching tool with the elementary department students at Family Learning Center here in Chiang Rai, Thailand.   They were able to provide many of the details as we discussed the events leading up to Christ's resurrection.  We also colored the eggs as symbols of "new life."

Will you say a prayer for the spiritual growth and witness of these children many of their parents are in ministry here?  Some are from families of Buddhist or no faith.
