Greetings from Chiang Mai, Thailand! As most of you know, from August 29 – November 4, I traveled far and wide throughout the United States. The picture above gives you an idea of my route.
Matt and Lori serve in Laos and Thailand. In Laos, they work to bring hope and restoration to children and youth who have suffered or are at risk for the worst forms abuse and exploitation, including street children; children living in slum communities who are victims of abuse and domestic violence; and victims of child labor and sex trafficking.
Mylinda is a pastoral artist and trainer. She partners with IM colleagues, national church leadership and social change organizations to seek justice, healing and transformation through restorative art and creative expression.
Jeni serves on the leadership team at the New Life Center Foundation (NLCF) in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Established in 1987, the New Life Center serves young ethnic minority (tribal) women who are at risk for, or survivors of, human trafficking, forced labor and sexual abuse.
Kit provides direct clinical care for survivors of trauma including sexual abuse, human trafficking and domestic violence through therapeutic art groups and life-skills workshops. She also promotes spiritual formation through preaching, Bible teaching and facilitating art and contemplative prayer retreats.
International Ministries is excited to announce that, thanks to a generous donor, all gifts to IM for the “Thailand – Building for NightLight and Song Sawang Church” project up to $100,000 will be doubled between now and December 31, 2018!
