J.D. and Rhonda Reed have served in Bolivia since July 2011. J.D is a regional consultant for Theological Education throughout Iberoamerica and the Caribbean. He is the administrative coordinator for the Masters of Theological Studies Latino/a Ministries Program (MTS) for Palmer Seminary of Eastern University.

| Building Relationships with & through Youth

A special short-term mission opportunity took place in July 2019, where cross-cultural relationships were built between youth living in the Central Region in the US and youth living in Costa Rica.

| Pray for Ryan Baumgart newly appointed Associate Global Servant, serving as a high school educator in Japan at Okinawa Christian School International.

Ryan teaches courses in Old Testament, New Testament, apologetics and biblical applications. With a passion for sharing his faith in any situation, whether in or out of the classroom, he believes that the cultures, values, ideas and personalities of each student have value, and his goal is to help his students maximize these with an understanding of biblical truth.

Christina and Lance Muyeto | Pray for Lance and Christina Muteyo serving with IM as International Associate Global Servants in Zimbabwe.

Lance and Christina describe themselves as “Zimbabwean peace warriors.” Working with the Trees of Peace ministry in Zimbabwe, they conduct trainings in conflict transformation across Africa utilizing experiential learning methodologies which they learned from their mentors, Dan and Sharon Buttry, IM global servants in peace and justice.

| Pray for Hermelinda and Jorge Damasceno assisting churches of the Baptist Union of Great Britain reach out to the communities of Portuguese-speaking migrant workers in the region.

Jorge and Hermelinda are associate missionaries who serve with the Baptist Churches in the Dereham region of the United Kingdom working among Potruguese speaking immigrants.

| Heart Attack, Healing, and Home!

The chest pain would not stop! I felt the first pain walking from the bus stop toward home. Tired, I briefly rested in the bedroom. However, needing help now, I got out of bed. I barely got out the words, “I am having a heart attack!” before falling on my left shoulder and blacking out briefly.
