| New Van for Women’s Ministry in Haiti

Finally! The sturdy new van destined for Kihomi Nzunga’s use with women in Haiti has finally arrived. After many issues were resolved and thanks to much prayer, Kihomi took possession of the sturdy vehicle last Friday.

American Baptist mission in Haiti first began in 1823, and IM personnel have been serving alongside Haitian brothers and sisters continuously since 1919.  IM personnel and Haitian Baptist leaders together call for prayer that God will lead Haitians into a just and peaceful resolution to the current conflicts, and the long term needs they reflect.

| Progress is being made in Haiti – little by little

I woke up this morning singing Praise to the LORD the Almighty the King of Creation. Why? I really don’t know.  The day dawned somewhat dark and dreary. It did rain about .06 inches on this dry and thirsty land last night.
