Posted on January 21, 2018 The 10th FJC Class will graduate on January 27 in Buffalo, NY

The 10th graduation ceremony of FOUNDATIONS Judson Communities’ program, Certificate of Ministry Studies, will be held in Buffalo, New York on January 27, 2018.

There are altogether 49 participants and 47 will be getting their certificates. They began their studies from September 30, 2017, and their last class will be on January 27, 2018. One from Cleveland, Ohio, four from Syracuse, New York and forty-four from Buffalo, New York attended the class.

We had to separate the students into two classes with two different languages, one with Karen and the other with Burmese (Myanmar). We have held the classes every Saturday apart from Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas Season. It has been a great privilege for everyone who attends this course.

The instructors also enjoyed to share their knowledge and experiences with the students and they saw that this class is a great benefit for each and everyone migrated to the United States.

This is also a milestone for Central Seminary. CBTS is planning to upgrade the course to a diploma program and those who have received the Certificate of Ministry Studies through FJC could attend the upgraded program.

I am very thankful to God for giving me the opportunity to serve Him through the Theological Education corner for the Burmese (Myanmar) Diaspora Churches in the United States of America. As an immigrant, each and every Christian needs to have the knowledge on the country they migrated to be settled.

I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who have supported this ministry through prayers, donations and volunteering. I can see the LOVE of God through your good deeds. May the showers of blessings fall upon you forever.

Central Seminary has a deep commitment to educational initiatives both in Burma and here in the US. Working in partnership with International Ministries, Central Seminary offers this ministry certificate program for members of the Burmese diaspora communities in the US. Over 400 students from these communities have already participated in Central’s FOUNDATIONS Judson Communities (FJC) certificate program. These students have participated in classes taught in New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Minnesota, Indiana, Oregon, and California.
