- GLOBAL MISSION
- WAYS TO SUPPORT
We thank God for His kindness and mercy. Our God in all things has blessed us and sustained our hands to do his good work.
We are also grateful to the Lord for each of you who have sustained us through your prayers and financial contribution. We pray over you 2Corinthians 9:10 “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness”.
In January I made a trip to Tanzania for the pre-inauguration of the Health Center for Women and Children, it was a very beautiful party where members of the community were present to celebrate together the generosity of our God.
Rev. Charles Jones were there on behalf of International Ministries/ABC to unveil the dedication placard. We are all very thankful to WRC for helping funding such an important project. This health center is very important because it will greatly reduced the rate of maternal and child mortality in the region. We estimate that the construction will be finished completely in June, when we will have the official inauguration. Pray that we will have the resources to equip the center.
In Albania, God has greatly blessed the work of Kisha Baptiste Lajmi i Mire (Good News Baptist Church). Pastor Edmond and his wife Nida have seen the work grow consistently. At the moment they are engaged in the construction project of the new temple. That’s it. The European Baptist Federation is funding this project that will consolidate the history of Baptists in the city of Lezhe – Albania. This was the first Baptist Church founded in the country and the first with its own temple. We are expecting the construction to be completed by September 2019.
God is Faithful!
Here in the United Kingdom God has been gracious to us. The church has grown, and we are now focusing our energy on forming leaders. We formed a leadership group that is composed of me and my wife, three sisters and two brothers from the congregation. This group has grown in grace and wisdom. They are brothers who want to see the Kingdom of God being proclaimed not only in the city of Great Yarmouth but in all the earth. Pray that they will continue to grow in the Lord.
Another area that has grown in the church is the children’s. God has blessed us with families with many children. Hermelinda, has done a great job! She has trained teachers to attend to this growth and organized the logistics of the groups. At the moment there are two classes, one for children and one for adolescents. The good problem we have is space. There is not enough space in the church to accommodate all of them.
