GoalThe goal of this project is to help the Women's Association of El Salvador to provide medical supplies and care for the elderly at the Senior Home, assist children with education and offer drug awareness materials for parents.

DescriptionWhite Cross funding for Prevention Projects has promoted positive change for the Women’s Association of El Salvador. These projects have changed the face of their ministry and are transforming lives. The Senior Home is for those who have no family to care for them or who have been abandoned by their families. This ministry provides medical supplies and other help to provide compassionate care in a positive environment. The Women’s Association is helping children get an education and teaching drug awareness education. It is anticipated that this project will improve the quality of compassionate care for the elderly residents of the Senior Home and be a help to families in education their children.
Suggested Gifts$100 provides 5 pairs of shoes for school children or one wheelchair for the Senior Home. $250 provides 2 pairs of eyeglasses or a sewing machine or bedding for the Senior Home. $500 assists with drug awareness education or provides medicines for children and seniors for 6 months.
Prayer RequestsPray for the health of each person coordinating and participating in the prevention projects and ministries. Pray that the projects will have a long term impact on the educational and economic futures of the families involved. Pray that there will be more than enough resources to expand the number of residents at the Senior Home.
