GoalThe goal of this project is to provide physicals, dental care and hospital visits for seminary students in Lebanon.
SummaryThis White Cross project seeks to raise $5,883 for 37 seminary students and their families at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary.
DescriptionThe Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) in Lebanon has been serving students from around the Arab world for over 50 years. It offers a unique Arabic-language curriculum tailored specifically for developing Christian leadership in the Arab world. Students at the ABTS come from Morocco, Algeria, Sudan, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Armenia. They come to ABTS to become equipped for leadership in churches in the Arab world. While providing holistic theological formation, ABTS believes it is equally important to provide for the physical needs of its international students, who come from nine countries. ABTS seeks to provide annual physicals, as well as dental care and hospital visits, for its 37 students and their families. This project will be managed by Wissam al-Saliby, Partnerships manager of ABTS. It is anticipated this project improve the health of the student body during the school year and, as a result, enable students to make the most of their preparation for serving the church of God.
Suggested Gifts$100 will provide one first aid kit. $250 will pay for physical examinations for students living on campus. $500 will cover the cost of health and dental care and hospital visits for a student and their family.
