Since 1986, LAURAN has been passionate about sharing Jesus’ hope and healing with victims of human trafficking and prostitution and offering prevention opportunities for those at risk. She served as the first director of the New Life Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand, for 14 years before God led her in 2001 to share her pioneering experiences as a global consultant. Based in Europe for 18 years, Lauran traveled extensively throughout the world to encourage Christians in anti-trafficking endeavors. Now living in California, she continues her ministry with victims of trafficking and the organizations serving them globally, advising, networking and conferencing in multiple and creative ways.

As I write this, I’m home, in The Netherlands, having stayed here for one of the longest periods of time since becoming a Global Consultant!

| Tulips and Trafficking….

You know that it’s my favorite time of year in The Netherlands—because the tulips are in bloom! I love taking my walks for exercise in the Keukenhof gardens—and hosting numerous folks who come to visit.

| Rising (out of bed!) To The Challenge!

What a fabulous “birthday celebration” International Ministries had this summer! Celebrating 200 years as an organization—the longest-running Christian mission agency in the USA—was a giant moment in history!
