B. LANUTEMJEN AND ONENLEMLA serve as global servants in El Salvadorare serving in partnership with the Ao Baptist Church Association and the Convention of Banjara Baptist Churches in India. The couple has worked extensively planting churches among Telegu fishermen and the Savara tribe in Andhra Pradesh, focusing now on the Banjara people group in Telengana state. They engage in training local pastors (church planters), lay leaders and make disciples of Christ in rural villages. They are members of the Molungyimsen Baptist Church, the first Naga church started by American Baptist missionaries Edwin W. and Mary M. Clark in 1872. Now, the church is commissioning and providing support to Lanu and Alemla -- their mission story has come full circle, serving through International Ministries.
