GoalThe goal of this project is to give young women in Haiti the opportunity to attend nursing school or college.
SummaryThis project seeks to raise $18,900 to provide 3 scholarships in a four-year nursing school program in Haiti.
DescriptionKihomi Ngwemi and Nzunga Mabudiga are IM global servants in Haiti who encourage and assist young women in pursuing education. They have seen many graduates use their skills to improves lives in their community and encourage others to attend school as well. Educated nurses, besides contributing to the economy, are also extremely valuable in their communities because of their ability to give reliable medical care that improves overall health of the village.
Suggested Gifts$50 provides school supplies for one student. $100 buys a uniform and learning kit. $250 funds a one-year hospital internship. $500 pays for one semester’s tuition.
