A heart attack is not something people wish for. We certainly didn’t want it nor expect it. God orchestrated it perfectly so the outcome was His plan: a new heart for Gordon and the opportunity to work with God in what He is doing in the life of Gordon’s cardiologist.

| Connections made through STM

How do we keep serving and be true to our call while waiting? How can we do both?
As countries closed borders in 2020, God encouraged the staff at STM to cast their nets of outreach even wider. STM enhanced the ministry of presence and equipping as they strengthened cross-cultural connections with partners. God’s omnipresence was revealed at a higher level.

| Pray for Boaz Keibarak, International Associate Global Servant for IM, working in evangelism, discipleship and peace and justice in Kenya. 

Boaz has been engaged in peacebuilding activities for over a decade. He provides conflict transformation training, mediation, and reconciliation among the rural communities throughout eastern Kenya along the border of western Uganda.  

| Pray for Christina and Lance Muteyo ministering for Christ in Zimbabwe for peace and economic justice. 

Christina and Lance share, “It is our belief that peace, justice, truth, and mercy are ingredients for sustainable peace building.” They serve with IM as international associate global servants.

| Joy to the World

This year we were asked to put up Christmas decorations for the Debrecen Baptist Church. This was a wonderful opportunity to invite people from all over the world to create a Christmas ornament that says “Joy to the World.”
