Posted on June 5, 2021 What the LORD Has Done

Many of you remember sending me off to Thailand in 2015 to serve at New Life Center. We were all eager to see what the LORD would do with our meager loaves and fishes…your willingness to giveand my willingness to go.

Six years later, we can clearly see that God has multiplied our offering:

What a wonder…! God’s kingdom is being multiplied on earth in the hearts of tribal girls – and you have been part of it!

WE LAUGHED AND LAUGHED

AND OVERFLOWED WITH GLADNESS.

WE WERE LEFT SHOUTING FOR JOY

AND SINGING YOUR PRAISE.

ALL THE NATIONS SAW IT AND JOINED IN, SAYING,

“THE LORD HAS DONE GREAT MIRACLES FOR THEM!”

YES, HE DID MIGHTY MIRACLES AND WE ARE OVERJOYED!

PSALM 126:2-3 (TPT)

This has been the song of God’s people for generations, and it is our song today!

What will the LORD do next?

There’s no way for us to know what God has in store for the future, but we are confident that God’s plan is good – so we wait in eager expectation once again, holding our plans loosely:

In just 8 weeks, I plan to travel to Atlanta where I will quarantine and begin my vaccination process. I’ll stay with an IM colleague who has generously opened her home there. I anticipate the vaccination process taking 6-8 weeks. During that time, I hope to plan my travel / speaking schedule for the year.

Once I am fully vaccinated, I will travel to Michigan to spend time with my family, whom I have not seen in far, far too long. They too have sacrificed much for the sake of others.

My year-long home assignment (or furlough) will then get fully underway, and I hope to see and spend time with as many of you as possible. I will continue providing administrative support for New Life Center throughout this time while focusing on encouraging all of you in your own discipleship journeys!  I am eager to spend this time with you!

There is one very special prayer request I am holding before the Lord: I need a vehicle.

Would you commit to praying for this with me? Would you make an announcement at your church or post this need on social media? I know that God has someone out there who has a sturdy, safe, reliable vehicle they aren’t using or are ready to replace. Would you pray with me that God would connect me with that person? To borrow or receive a car is no small thing – I realize that. But we have a great God, and everything on earth belongs to him (Dt. 10:14). We are all only stewards of the things God gives us, including our homes, our cars, and our very lives. I know God will meet my needs, so I’m asking. Please get in touch with me if you have questions or ideas about this need (jeni.pedzinski@internationalministries.org). I can’t wait to share what God does!

With joyful love,

Jeni
