World Mission Conference: TRAVEL

Here are some frequently asked questions about travel to and from the World Mission Conference at the Green Lake Conference Center. Or you can return to the WMC homepage.

 

Q: When should I arrive?

A: Monday, July 4. We suggest you check in by 5:00pm (Central time). Registration is 11:00am – 7:00pm, supper is served 5:00 – 6:00pm.  The evening program begins at 7:00pm and is preceded by music starting at 6:35pm.

Q: What are the average drive times to Green Lake from the airport?

A: From the three closest airports, drive times are:

Appleton’s Outagamie airport – 1 hour

Milwaukee’s Mitchell airport – 2 hours

Chicago’s O’Hare airport – 3 hours

Q: When should I depart?

A: Saturday, July 9. We strongly suggest choosing a flight that leaves no earlier than 9:00am. Remember you will need between one and three hours to get back to the airport plus one or two hours to get checked in and go through security.

Q: Is there a shuttle to the Green Lake Conference Center?

A: No. Attendees will need to make their own arrangements for ground transportation from the airport, train station, or bus station. You can rent a vehicle, or contact Go Riteway to hire a private sedan, SUV, van, mini-coach, or full-size motor coach: https://goriteway.com/.

Q: What’s the best route if I am driving to the Green Lake Conference Center?

A: Directions are available on the Green Lake website (http://www.glcc.org/travel–maps.html) and there is plenty of parking. Or call them at 920-294-3323.
